Mar 17 2021. It was not until late May 2021 that a new version of the OTA software turned on inside cameras for new Model 3 and Model Y ie. Autopilot was first offered as an option for Tesla Model S sedans on 1092014 followed by the Model X upon its release on 9292015.
Autopilot is now standard on Model 3 Model S and Model X.
Tesla has raised the price of Full Self Driving to 6000 before delivery and 8000 after delivery. It was included in all Model S and Model X vehicles built from September 2014 October 2016. For owners who took delivery of their cars without Autopilot there are two packages available for purchase depending on when your car was built. Tesla has begun producing Model X and Model S vehicles with the latest Autopilot hardware to support Full Self-Driving capabilities.
